They will empower you with knowledge and practical techniques to help you achieve your desired breastfeeding outcome.  The Maternity Nurse will come to you home and observe and discuss various methods of positioning your baby during feeding and help you to achieve a pain free latching and also teach you how to increase your milk supply, how to express and preserve breast-milk and discuss  any concerns you might have in relation to breastfeeding and associated complications such as mastitis and how to unblock milk duct.
